AURHA

AURHA – the Adelaide University Rural Health Alliance; pronounced aura. A branch of the National Rural Health Students’ Network (NRHSN) is a student body comprised of Medical, Dental, Nursing & Allied Health students providing a voice for those passionate about improving health outcomes for rural and remote Australians.

“We aim to promote rural and remote practice to Adelaide University health students through information exchange, placement opportunities, support and advocacy”

With a multi-disciplinary focus we run a number of fun and educational activities for students, and includes trips to rural and remote areas, BBQs, rural high school visits, the popular Dinner Under the Stars Social Event and a night for guest speakers to talk about their dental work in areas of Australia, where it is truly needed most!
