At the AUDSS Student Affairs Basement Corner
Over the years, multiple renovations have taken place in the ADH basement. In 2015, we introduce to you the Student Affairs Corner! This stop provides needs regarding student welfare, support and advocacy to our students. A 365-day 'R U Okay Day?' whiteboard, The thought box where students can drop in a message regarding issues concerning them, stands of pamphlets addressing university life issues that are prevalent to students. You will also find there, printed copies of our new initiative – “Student Issue” magazine. This is just one stop where you can find the Student Affairs Committee!
The AUDSS "Student Issue" Magazine
This brand new initiative, The Student Issue came about to enhance and encourage student growth, welfare, support and advocacy. We understand that students come from across the globe, even the locals, and may not be familiar with the services and support that are available to us. We have done the research.
This Magazine is broken down into three sections:

News Feed - the latest student affairs events! Jam-packed throughout the year.

Smoother Journey – advice tailor made and relevant to different year levels, for instance useful clinic advice, advanced heads-up on things to get and prepare for during the year, useful links and apps that students had found very helpful with. This is to just name a few.

Student Welfare and Support – relevant issues pertaining to current students on matters ranging from financial issues, accommodation, and welfare and counseling services that are available. Organizations pertaining to a diverse range of university student issues are provided along with contact information.
Online copies will be available by clicking here to all BDS and BOH students, along with printed copies found in the Student Affairs Corner. Few volumes will be made available throughout the year. Our aim is to make this as useful and relevant as possible to our students.
In the past, students have always stressed that they wish they knew about “this” (issues ranging from anything really) earlier. This is the basis for why we bring this magazine to you! So that you will have access to this information, which you can always refer backs to and utilize the services, advice and events provided.
